FCSB defeated Inter Escaldes 3-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round at Stadionul Steaua on July 9, 2025.

J. Cisotti scored twice for FCSB in the 37th and 53rd minutes. Rafinha pulled one back for Inter Escaldes with a left-footed shot assisted by Joseba Muguruza in the 60th minute.

FCSB recorded 14 total attempts with 3 goals, while Inter Escaldes managed 1 goal from limited opportunities.

The second leg will determine which team advances to the next qualifying round.
