KuPS Kuopio defeated FC Milsami 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round at Savon Sanomat Areena on July 8, 2025.

Otto Ruoppi scored the decisive goal for KuPS in the 73rd minute with a left-footed shot from the center of the box.

The second leg will be played at Milsami's home ground on July 15, 2025, with KuPS holding a 1-0 aggregate lead.
