M. Pellegrino opened the scoring for Parma from the penalty spot in the 36th minute. Torino's C. Ngonge equalized with a goal in the 50th minute. Pellegrino secured the win for Parma with his second goal in the 72nd minute, assisted by E. Valeri.

The result marked the first Serie A win for Parma head coach Carlos Cuesta.
